Getting Here

This part of France is readily accessed from the north - Paris and the channel ports – and from the north and east – Holland, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland – and offers travellers a wide range of landscapes and holiday pursuits within easy reach. You will be amazed, when you look at the maps of the area, just how many fascinating places are within a short distance of Ivry.

Beaune and Ivry are about ‘half way’ down France in an area that is gaining interest with tourists due to its food, wine, countryside and welcome – and the fact that it is not ‘brimming over’ with tourists. In the area are towns and villages of widely varying character and historical interest and visits to chateaux, abbeys, museums, galleries and churches can make the journeys around, to and from Ivry-en-Montagne simply delightful.

Increasing numbers of travelers are using this part of France to break their journeys to and from the Mediterranean – and falling in love with the area and coming back to holiday in it. You could join them!
