Child Friendliness
“Les Vignes” is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of a quiet village and is surrounded by countryside. There is ample play space in the mainly grass courtyard immediately in front of the gite where balls can be kicked around and badminton and boules played (there is a gravelled area at the top of the courtyard). Just across the valley - towards the historic Chateau de Coraboeuf – are a public playground and tennis courts and from the gite it is possible to walk along quiet country roads and tracks through fields and woodlands brimming with birdlife, wild flowers and all the interests of the countryside.
The chateau and grounds are open for visits and display a fascinating sequence of buildings - from an old keep to more recent 18th century residential wing and massive timber barn.
